Can you believe it...our Utes showed what they are made of and beat Alabama with a score of 31-17. I am one that loves a good game, but once it's over I move on to the next. Rarely do I ever want to watch the repeat of a game (unlike my hubby that watches each game an average of 3 times), however I could watch the Sugar Bowl game again and again. It was so thrilling to see our boys come out and show what the U of U calls football. I am a little jealous of my brothers, Bryan and Jace, who were there in person. They took a chartered bus from SLC (now dubbed the "Hell Bus") and had quite the adventure. They both said that they would do it again without hesitation. At first I thought they were crazy for taking a bus, but the night before they left I really wished I was going. Get this, one of the ladies on the bus was from SF, she left her husband home with the kids and went on a mini vaca all by herself. Good for her, she is very inspiring to me.
The Utah football team will be honored with a parade on Friday, January 16 in SLC. It just so happens that Brad has the day off and we are going. I can't wait! If you would like more information visit the U of U site.

Yay!!!! Go Utes! :) I've been wearing my UofU sweatshirt all week, despite the fact that, around here, no one has a clue what "U" stands for, even if they did win the Sugar Bowl.

What an amazing game. i still can't believe that we ended #2 in the nation, how cool is that, national champs would have been better. oh well #2 isn't bad. I hear that fox 13 is reairing the game this sat night at 7pm. hope all is well. Go Utes!!!
That was the one and only game I have ever seen Jason cheer for the Utes.
It is pretty awesome though :-)
