{Christmas...Past}

It's hard to believe that Christmas 2008 has come and gone. We're all a little sad. We had a great holiday and took lots of pictures to document the occasion. On Christmas Eve we had a yummy dinner at Brad parents home. It was sooooo good!

After dinner we all headed downstairs to exchange gifts and of course OPEN THEM! The kids love this part and it is always fun to see their excitement. Here is a picture of the tree (just one of many) before the gifts were open.

We were yet again spoiled by our family.
On Christmas morning we had a great time opening all the gifts that Santa had brought. I think that the kids got all they had hoped for, Lexi got her cupcake maker and Rowen got his train set, among other things for them both. They hated to open the clothes. Lexi would say before she opened her gift, "Please don't be more clothes." Here are the pictures of just our family on Christmas morning.

We also had our traditional Christmas Breakfast with the Dalton side of our family. It is always fun to see everyone that morning. We eat, laugh and enjoy each others company. Here are a few more pictures for Christmas morning.

Now let's get ready to welcome in 2009!

it sounds like you had a great time!! Just one Question, Does Lexie's hair always look that good in the morning or are you supermom who did her hair for christmas morning pictures? Either way I'm jealous.

Your kids always look so pertfect! Mine look like they have hang overs in their christmas pics. Looks like Santa was very nice this year! I'll bet you couldn't wait to get it all put away!

Looks like you guys had so much fun over the holidays. We did a family breakfast this year too. It was our first. Growing up, my mom always did a simple and fast breakfast, because we weren't allowed to open anything until we were dressed and had had breakfast (mean mommy JK). Anyway, we decided to have a brunch. Let's just say gingerbread pancakes with buttermilk syrup, nuff said, Mmmmmm!
