{Historic Day}

Today a new President of the United States of America takes office. I truly believe that anytime a new President takes office it is a historical day, but today is even more special than just that. Today we have our first African American President. I'm not trying to stir up any republican/democratic debate, I'm just excited about the fact that I am seeing history in the making. I pray that President Obama will be in tune with the needs of our country. That he will follow inspiration from our Father in Heaven. The time has come for our country to work together. To be one community and do what it takes to make a change for our future. As with everyone, I would like to see our economic conditions improve. I do not believe it is up to just the President to make this change, it is up to all of us to be a little more involved, do out part, help others and be examples of the great nation we live in. Someday I will be telling my grandchildren about this day and I plan to remember all the details.

I agree, it is going to take all of us to help this nation prosper. I believe that Barack brings hope to many people, including myself. I'm excited to see what the future will bring with him as president! Great post!

Well said. You hit the nail on the head. Even though I am worried about some of his agendas...I have to have faith that the Lord wants him in this position right now for one reason or another. I hope we as a country strive to pull together. Im not quite ready for the earth to become so wicked that Christ will need to come and scorch it just yet.
