{Lexi vs. Wild}

One of our favorite shows is Man vs. Wild. We Tivo it every week to make sure we don't miss Bear Grylls surviving yet another harsh environment. Not to mention that I totally think Bear is hot! Last night we were watching Mr. Grylls in the Oregon wilderness, more specifically Hell's Canyon. In every episode he shows you things you can eat to keep your energy level up. I personally think he enjoys grossing everyone out. This episode was no different. When Bear came across a deer carcass he commented about the smell of rotting meat. He then proceeded to yank a leg from the deer and pull off the hide and meat. He took a rock and smashed the bone to get to the marrow inside. He explained that this was still eatable and began eating the bone marrow to "survive". Lexi was totally grossed out! She turned to Brad and stated "If I have to do that to live, I'd rather die!" It was said so matter-of-fact, no mixed meaning, nothing. She was disgusted and let us know it. We were laughing so hard. It was yet another one of those moments, that come way too often these days, when I thought "Holy cow, you're growing up." She is such a funny girl.
