{Update on Rowen}
I have had so many people ask about Rowen, so I thought I'd take he time to type an update. Rowen has made a huge improvement. He is running around the house acting like your average little 2 year old. He is still on two antibiotics and they have given him a nasty little bum rash. I feel so bad for the kid, he screams when I have to change him. We are loading him up with Probiotics (the good bacteria in yogurt) and doing our best to treat his little bum with care. He goes back next week for another x-ray, hopefully the last. We have a tough winter ahead of us. Dr. Later has advised us to do whatever we can to keep him from getting sick again. We are going to have to revert back to our hermit days and stay in as much as possible. I HATE WINTER! That means no nursery for Rowen (dang, I'm so disappointed...if you don't know, I'm being sarcastic). My biggest worry is what Lexi could possibly bring home from Kindergarten. I am trying to be positive that our efforts will bring good results. I'll just keep praying that he will be looked after and taken care of. I have faith, and hope that things will be fine. Thanks again for all the prayers on Rowen's behalf, I can't express enough how much they are appreciated!

So glad he continues to improve!
On another note, do you still have the email I sent you that David Letterman wrote talking about the happiness of America? If so will you please re-send it to me? I accidently deleted.
Hope you have a good day, trapped inside. Sorry!
Sorry to hear your little guy is sick. I hope he contiues to get better and doesn't get sick again. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so glad to hear he's doing better. But seriously - you don't like nursery? I can't imagine anything better! I cheered the day I didn't have to deal with Benjamin and my callings at the same time!
I am so glad that he is doing better...poor little dude. I know what you mean about hating winter. I love the beauty of the snow...for about a day, then I am done. I hate the long cold dark nights. I feel so incredibly cooped up, and it is only enhanced when you have to keep a sick kid home. I am so sorry for you. We will just keep praying that everything goes well with your little family.
Wow, what a coaster ride. I am so sorry Rowen has been so sick! Mother's shouldn't have to watch their children suffer. Hang in there.
I'm so sorry to hear about Rowen! There is nothing worse...especially to have them in the hospital, how sad. I'm glad he's doing better. Let us know if there is anything we can do. Love you guys!
I'm so glad he's doing better. Kids seem to recoop a lot quicker than adults. It seems they are up and running around in no time. I agree with you on the nursery thing. Honestly, the nerve of some parents bringing their sick kids to church only to get our kids sick.
Wish you guys the best with winter on it's way!! Hope Rowen stays healthy! Just have to ask.....i've been going through boy names lately and I came across the name Rowen spelled "Roan" -- meaning "little red one" --- I couldn't help but think that maybe you picked that name for the meaning ---being such U or U fans!!! Not likely, but thought i'd ask! :) Love your blog BTW.
