I overheard a conversation that Lexi was having with her Dad. It went something like this:
Lexi: "Dad I know why my skin is not as dark as your skin."
Dad: "Really, why?"
Lexi: "Because you are from a different Africa and I am from here. And that is okay."
I really believe that if kids ran the world there would be no discrimination. Children are accepting of everyone no matter their differences. I love my girl and hope her heart never changes.
