{20 Things...}

Kim, I am stealing your last post idea. I thought it was so fun to read, so thanks for sharing.

20 Things I LOVE!
(in no particular order)
1. My Family. I feel so blessed to have such a supportive family. They are there when I need them no matter the time or the place. I know I can call on them for anything. THANK YOU!
2. My Husband. He is such a good daddy to my children, the love of my life, and a good example to everyone around him. Did I mention he is HOT. When we were dating I used to think, "He'll give me cute kids." So selfish, but was I wrong?
3. My Kids, of course. They are the reason I get up in the morning, the reason I believe in miracles and the most important thing I'll ever do. They make me want to be a better person
4. The Gospel. It seems I am reminded on a daily basis what a blessing the gospel is in my life. I am so grateful to know that my family can be together for eternity. I hate to think what life would be like without this understanding.
5. New Socks. They always fit so snug and cozy.
6. The Perfect Pair of Jeans. All you gals out there know what I mean. When you find those perfect jeans don't you just want to buy 3 pair?
7. A Hot Bath. This needs no explanation.
8. Blogging. I think it is so fun to read other's blogs, stalk those I don't know, and get to know people that you have always be curious about, but never had the opportunity to talk to. So fun!
9. THE UTES! I love the U of U. I love the feeling of an exciting game that results in a win. This is something I share with my family and it is always a highlight of fall/winter season. GO UTES!
10. Shopping. Now I don't just love shopping, I love to find amazing deals and I never pay full price for anything. I love the satisfaction it gives me to know that some sucker paid more than I did. I have no problem waiting for a deal and there is always a deal to be found.
11. Being busy. I like to climb into bed at night knowing I accomplished something that day.
12. Creating Something New. As you know my newest adventure has been canning. It is always fun to know that I learned something new. Now I can add it to the list of things that I have done and could do again.
13. Being a Stay-At-Home Mom. I count this as one of my most valuable blessings. I am so grateful to be at home raising my kids and providing for their needs. Thanks to my husband, I am able to be here for our family.
14. Good Friends. I love my friends and am so grateful for their examples and encouragement. I feel so lucky to know each and every one of you. Thanks!
15. Greek. I love this show and tivo it every Tuesday so I don't miss an episode.
16. Homemade Soup. This is my favorite food. Once it gets cold I could eat it every day.
17. Chocolate. Any form, any where, any time. It scares me how much I love it, but I really watch my consumption these days. It loves me so much it never wants to leave me. It just finds a cozy home on my gut, butt or hips. Not worth it.
18. Fresh Paint. I love the instant results you get from painting a room. I love the smell of a freshly painted room.
19. A Clean House. There is nothing better then a house that is clean and organized. It is very satisfying to me to have a fresh, clean home.
20. Hard Work. Yes, it is hard, but in the end doesn't it just feel good to be able to say, "I did it!" Very satisfying!

20 Things I HATE!
1. I hate BYU. I truly do, I can't even being to tell you how much. I try to keep it under control and not show my utter disdain for BYU and so I will not list the many reasons. Lets just say, it would be more than 20 things, easy.
2. Bad Customer Service. It is not hard to give good customer service, all you have to do is DO YOUR JOB! Difficult concept? I don't think so.
3. Being Unorganized. I don't really think it is difficult to be organized. It makes life so much easier if you keep things in order. I do think I have a little OCD.
4. Sick kids. I hate for my kids to be sick. I worry constantly about them when they are sick. I feel so bad for them when they are not able to play and be kids.
5. Nursery. This kind of goes with the sick kids thing. Why can't people take the hint, if your kids are sick, LEAVE THEM HOME! It is mean to make them go to church when they are miserable. It is mean to share the germs with the rest of the ward. Sick season wouldn't be so bad if people would just stay home when they are sick.
6. Stupid People. I'm not saying I am the brightest star in the sky, but there are those people out there that don't even get the simplest of concepts. You know who you are.
7. Laundry. It never ends. I don't think you can ever say that the laundry is done, because it is the gift that just keeps on giving. So annoying.
8. Winter! I hate snow, I hate cold, I hate being stuck inside. I live in the wrong place 6 months out of the year. The perfect winter would include zero snow and zero sick days.
9. Stupid emails. You know the ones that have been forwarded 50 million times. I rarely forward an email, but if I do it must be really funny. I never forward the "You are on someones wonderful list....", "Now forward this to 10 women that you admire" crap. They are usually really stupid and if you really are thinking about someone then just give them a call.
10. Constant Texting. No one talks to each other anymore. I was at a funeral and the person sitting next to me was texting the entire time. How rude! Have some respect.
11. Working Out. I want to love it, but I don't. I have really been pushing myself to do better and endure it. I'll just stick to it until it becomes a love and not a hate.
12. Late People. Everyone knows those people who are always late. It is so rude. To me it is saying your time is not as important as mine, so you can wait for me. If you are late all the time get you butt in gear and fix it. It is not acceptable to make people wait on you all the time.
13. Fake People. Perhaps I am a little to forward with my opinions, but at least you know where I stand and that I am being honest with you. Another thing, if you ask for my opinion don't get mad at me if it is not what you wanted to hear.
14. Mean People. If you are nice and respectful to people you will always get better results then if you are mean to them. If you want to be treated respectfully you have to be respectful too.
15. Coconut. It is not good in any form.
16. Doing My Hair. I have enough hair for three people so it takes me forever to do it. Since I had my kids my naturally curly hair is so funky that I hate to do it curly, and that leaves me with only one option, blow it dry and flat iron it. My arms feel like they are going to fall off before I'm done.
17. The 80's. People talk about the 80's like it was the best decade ever. I disagree! The 80's had bad music, bad hair, and while some styles are back and better, the 80's had horrible fashion. I just don't see what everyone is talking about.
18. Toby Keith. GROSS, GROSS, GROSS! Not good at all!
19. Erasure. I hate this group. My older sister loved them in HS (sorry Cam!), and I have nightmare about their music.
20. This list, I don't want to think about anything else I hate. I'd rather be listing things I love.

What???? The 80's?? How could you not love the 80's? Your right that was fun to read. I might get around to doing it myself :)

Becky

That was a fun post. I learned we have a lot in common...except for your passionate hatred to BYU. :) You're funny, we should hang out.

I had no idea you were such a hater towards BYU!! This is a fun post to read. i agree with the whole taking your kids to nursey when they are suck. WHY, WHY, WHY do this?! And the bad costumer service ting-drives me crazy, that also goes with the "stupid people" thing. This was fun to read.

Loni

I was happy to read your #1 on your hate list (even though you said it was not in any particular order, we both know that your #1 hate is BYU!!) I happen to share that view with you! We could go on for months naming all the reasons, ohh, just thinking of them makes me hate them more, why am I wasting my time!! I couldn't ask for a better sister to complain about BYU with!! Love ya!

Stella

I found you! Becky and I were talking, and we started talking about blogging. I visited her blog and found the ward! Cute blog!

That was so much fun to read. You are so strait forward and I love that about you. I absolutly love hanging with you. We may disagree on the hate list (BYU, the 80's and Erasure) but there are so many things on there that I so agree with (Toby Keith...EEEWWW!) Anyway that was way fun to read. Thanks!

Amanda

This is a great way to learn things about people that you wouldn't normally know. I knew that you loved the Utes, but didin't know your hatred for the cougs. I guess that kindof goes hand in hand huh.

Stella

You are hilarious! I love this post, and I agree, it is fun to stalk people you want to know better.
