{Lexi Gets Her Ears Pierced}
After going to visit Mike, Lexi's boyfriend, we headed to the mall to get Lexi's ears pierced. Now this is not the first time I went to get Lexi's ears pierced, she has chicken out a couple of times before. Today, however we selected the earrings, signed all the paperwork and got the earrings loaded into the gun before Lexi stated: "Never mind, I don't want my ears pierced!". At this point she was going to get them done. She was sooooooooo funny! She did really well with her nerves until she saw the little dots on her ears that indicated where her earrings would be. Then she completely lost it! She started to cry and we did our best to calm her down and make her see that the earrings wouldn't be that bad. Finally we snapped the first earring on. She let out a scream (which I'm sure the entire mall heard) and the sucker she had in her mouth went flying across the store. I was laughing so hard, I know I am mean. Then in her stunned state the girl helping us pierced her other ear. I don't even think she notice the second one, she still hadn't gotten over the first ear yet. She started to say, "Take them out, I don't want ears pierced!" She soon calmed down and started to enjoy the fact that she was a big girl with pierced ears. We then had to go to McDonald's for lunch to make up for the trauma she had just experienced. She is really enjoying showing off her new ears.

Such a tramatic experience, but it's so cute. Now the pain is over and she can have fun picking out cute and fun earings. I love the picture of her with the sucker in her mouth.
OK, after seeing these pictures. If I ever have a girl...I'm going to have to pierce her ears when she's a baby!!! Poor Lexi! Although she'll look so cute with earrings!

I learned from Sydneys freak out experience that I am going to make Camrie wait until im sure she wont do what Sydney did. She told me the other day that when she gets as big as Kaycee then she will do it. I'm pretty sure she will want them before that though, especially now that Lexi has such pretty earings. That was a pretty funny story though.

I went through the same trauma getting Mercedes ears pierced. In fact my sis did it for me for her fourth b-day. I ahd to walk around with my back turned to her, so I didn't cry. She didn't even cry, but I wanted to!
