I think this is one post that the title says it all for me. I love the Olympics, especially the Summer Olympics! I have loved to watch them since I was a little girl and my favorite part is the women's gymnastics. I get so excited and nervous for Team USA that I can't even imagine what it would be like to be in their shoes. Last night was my favorite event, and the girl I was really rooting for (not that I wasn't cheering on both USA gymnasts) won the GOLD! Way to go Nastia Liukin! She was in the zone, and even though the judges totally robbed her on the vault and uneven bars, she still kept her eye on the gold! I am also so very excited for Shaun Johnson for picking up the silver medal. These girls set their eye to the prize and accomplished their goal of being #1 & #2! They are great examples of hard work and determination.

Now on to my second favorite event, swimming. Who hasn't been cheering for Michael Phelps! He is amazing! I love how intense it is to watch him swim. You totally know that he is going to pull it off, but I always get a little nervous when the race begins. I have to say that I think I'd be speechless if I even met him. He amazes me so much that I think I would totally be dumbstruck in his presence. Congrats on the records you have set and the records you will be setting in your final two races. I'll be watching.

I have been getting no sleep since the games began. I just can't stop watching! I'll be sad when they end and I have to wait four more years!

I've been up late with you! The games have been so exciting. And I love that the USA took gold and silver in the womens gymnastics all around. It was awesome! Dave is looking forward to track and field, not my favorite, but I still will be watching!
Im so sad that I have been gone for the past week and have missed much of the olympics. My favorite is also the womens gymnastics. I have also really started loving volleyball as well. I hope your shoe party went well. Im so sorry that I missed it. I hope you will do another one like it soon.
