{Girls Weekend In Park City}

This weekend I had an amazing time in Park City with great friends, yummy Mexican food and lots of shopping. Thanks to all the gals that came along! You are all awesome women. I love you all and am very grateful for the friendships that we share.

Now that I got all the gooey, lovey stuff out of the ways, it's time to share with all my blog stalkers (I love ya all!) our mini vacation. We left on Friday at noon and headed up to Park City to get some early shopping done. We had so much fun on the ride up and the conversation just kept flowing. It is so nice to have friends that you can tell everything and really be yourself. Those friendships are priceless. We checked out Children's Place first and they had some great deals for boys, so I bought tons of dress shirts for a couple of my nephews and Rowen. It will be a while before Row fits into his, but they were good classic shirts that will never go out of style.

After we shopped the usual Old Navy, Bath & Body Works, Fossil, GAP and many more, we headed to the condo to drop off our things and get ready for dinner. We had to check in at one resort and then head to the another where we were staying. No biggie, but when we got to our condo it was a complete mess! The beds were all slept in, garbage overflowing and I won't even begin to describe the bathrooms! I could have died. I immediately got on the phone and called the office to tell them what we had found. They were so apologetic and took good care of us. They upgraded our condo to a much nicer area and gave us some extra perks to come back again. Hey, mistakes happen and they total took care of us without any problems. I think I'll give them a try again, after all the deal they are giving us for future stays is great!

Once everything was squared away with our lodging we headed off to dinner. Angie had heard that an old friend from high school, Josh Farnsworth was managing the Loco Lizard, so we thought we'd go to see him at work. Unfortunately he was off that night, so we left him a note to say hello. Too bad he was off, we would have loved to see him. Maybe next time. Dinner was really good. You're doing something right Josh, the place was packed.

I love to walk old main street so that was the next thing we did after dinner. We had to work off some of that yummy dinner and make some room for our first stop at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Which is conveniently located on main street. Most of us got apple pie caramel apples, but I got a dreamy chocolate covered strawberry and iced cafe latte truffle. Oh they were so good! Mellisa got a chocolate dipped banana, and you can call me a bit dirty minded, but it is hilarious to me to see someone eating one. Mellisa is a good sport and let me take a picture of her eating it. So funny!

Back at the resort there was a hot tub calling our names, so we headed to the condo for some relaxation and good conversation. We must of been having a good time, because we stayed up way too late. Even after we all got comfortable in our beds you could hear more talking going on from room to room. I know Kristen, Paige and I stayed up for quite a while chatting.

Saturday we woke up and got ready for more shopping before heading home. Here is a great little tip, TJ Max in PC totally rocks! Way clean store and had really cute stuff, not picked over like the one in Provo. The prices are great too! Always a bonus. We had to head back to the outlets to finish up with the stores that we didn't get to shop on Friday. Once we were completely done we headed to the Baja Cantina for lunch and boy was it great. Then after one last stop at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to get goodies for kids, husbands and babysitters, we started for home. We were all a little sad that our fun mini vacation was drawing to a close, but we know that there will be a next time. Thank again girls, I had a great time!
