9-Years, Where has the time gone?

Today, Brad and I celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. I can't hardly believe that we have been married for that long. I won't even count how long we have known each other, I feel old enough already. Funny thing, I had a huge crush on Brad when we were in the 6th grade. I thought he was the cutest boy ever! I never would have believed anyone if they would have told me that he would be my future husband. WOW!

We never talked until the summer before our senior year of High School. The power had gone out that particular evening and he & his friends had pulled me & my friends over on main street. Yes, children we were draggin' main. Both of us up to no good, but something good did come out of that random stop. When our senior year began, Brad asked me to Home Coming and the rest is history. I won't bore you with the details. Brad is the best thing that ever happened to me and I almost let him pass me by. After we dated to four months in high school, we went our separate ways and dated other people. We always seemed to hang out through other friends and two years after high school we ended up dating again. We then dated for about two more years before we got married.


We have always had a great relationship. We think alike, to the point that it is scary. He is and always will be my best friend. Brad is an awesome husband and father and I am so lucky to have him in my life. He takes wonderful care of our little family. I love him so much and know that the love we share will just grow stronger with each passing day, week, month and year. Thank you so much for the best nine years anyone can hope for. "I love you!"
