Lexi just loves all the fun spirit days she has at school and silly sock day was no exception! I ran to the dollar store on Thursday afternoon and bought these bright green socks for Lexi to decorate. I though she would enjoy using her markers and making them fun, but when I suggested that she get her markers out she looked at me like I had lost my mind. How could I ruin such a beautifully bright pair of socks by coloring on them? So we ended up getting out the ribbon and flowers to make them girly and cute. She did well instructing me on what she wanted, then leaving me to do the work. She had to wear them all day long and took much delight in showing them to everyone! I just hope they didn't think that her mother had lost her mind making her such interesting socks.
