Over Christmas break we started what has become a weekly activity at our house. Each weekend we pull out the air mattress and we have a sleepover in the family room. Lexi and Rowen get so excited when the weekend comes so they can have their family slumber party. I have to admit I really love it too. It is fun to cuddle all together, watch a movie and share some popcorn. I think that this will be an activity we will do for years to come. I love being a mom and spending time with my family. Someday we will all look back at this time and enjoy the memories we are making. There is absolutely nothing better in this world than the time we spend as a family.

Looks fun, but a little uncomfortable. I don't think I would be able to walke the next day!
That's so true! The time you spend as a family will be so important to you in the future! I'm the oldest in my family of 4 girls and the third is going to college next year, so there will be just one left at home with the parents. I was talking to my dad and it was so sad because he just told me that he missed the family thing! That he wanted to start over and do it all again. It made me realize how special this time is and that we should make the most of it! Haha, this is totally long, but your post just made me think of it!

My kids love to "camp-out" with their dad. No moms are allowed. It's their time with dad. I just love it!
we have been doing that as well. The girls LOVE to sleep together on weekends. It's funny because they can fight ALL DAY FRIDAY and then if I tell them they can't sleep together they act as if I am denying them the world. so funny
