All About Rowen
Today I was reading some of my latest blog entries and noticed that it has been sometime since I mentioned anything about Rowen. He is busy growing into a little boy and with each day he discovers something new he can do for himself. He loves to climb on the couch himself and gets very upset with me if I try to assist him in getting up. He loves, loves, loves to follow his big sis around the house. Yesterday they were upstairs playing when it got really quiet. All moms know that when it gets quiet you better check in, that's usually when trouble is coming. Am I right? Well, anyway, he was just sitting next to Lexi on her bed watching her play Leapster. It was so cute. He will do anything with her, even if it means just sitting there watching. Then, about twenty minutes later Rowen walks into my bedroom and he is wearing one of Lexi's hats and some jewelry, totally loving his new look. He was seriously grinning from ear to ear. I went to get the camera and by the time I got back he was back to his little boy self. He has the most infectious laugh and shares it with us often. At the same time Rowen is so quiet. He'll be in a room playing with all the kids, but won't make a peep. You can say he is exactly like his Dad in the respect. He is quiet, but I wouldn't say he's shy. He's just so easy going with just about everything. He brings such a sweet spirit into our home. I don't know what I'd do without him. While Lexi is at school he is my little buddy and loves our time alone together. He loves to hug on me and I can't say I don't love it too. I feel so fortunate to be a stay at home mom and to get to watch my kids grow. I'm not saying it's not hard sometimes, but I wouldn't change it for anything. My family is my dearest blessing and I thank my Heavenly Father each and everyday for them. I get a lot of teasing about the three days of crying after I found out Rowen was a boy, but I would NOT trade this little guy for anything. I love my Rowen!

Hey Lindsey - remember me?? I found your blog from Loni's. Cute Kids! I love that name Rowen. I have a little boy Gavin that's 3. I think if the next pregnancy is a girl I will be the one to cry for 3 days. I am TERRIFIED to have a girl...but we take what we get and I'm sure I will fall in love with a girl if it happens. Good to see you. Cute Blog!
It was fun to read about Rowen. Thanks for sharing. On your question about my blog background... go to my blog and go to Leelou Blogs in my list. She has tons of cute ones and they are free.
I love , love LOVE the new background, soooo cute. Isn't it great to be able to be home to experiece the little things kids do each day. Watching their growth is somthing that can not be replaced. Your kids are darling.
