We'll see what the New Year brings

I can't hardly believe that it is 2008! When you're a kid the grown ups used to always comment about how the time flies and of course being a kid you'd think they were crazy. Now that I am a grown up (maybe??? I still feel like a kid.) I would have to agree. Lexi turns five this year. How did the time slip away so quickly. She is a little girl now and not my baby girl anymore. She is so totally into Hannah Montana now and loves to sing with her. The poor girl seems to have gotten her mom's singing ability, or lack there of. I don't mind listening to her. In tune or not, it is still really cute. She has such personality. As for Rowen, he is just busy growing. He is a light weight and is in the two percentile of his age group. He just seems to be getting taller, but not putting on any weight. I'm a worrier, so I keep hoping that he will start putting on some lbs. He is such a happy little guy. If I pull out the camera and tell him to smile he just beams! He loves the camera. He so loves to play with his toys, which is taking them apart and putting them back together (or mom puts them back together). He loves his books too. He brings us books constantly to read and yes, he does sit down and listen until the book is over. Brad is busy with work and keeping busy with my long list of chores. Our dishwasher died about a week ago and I am tired of doing dishes, so I want either a repaired dishwasher or a new one by this weekend. He is so good to put up with me. :) Me, well I'm busy doing dishes :)! The kids keep me busy and I like to create so on my New Haven nights I take little projects to do. Right now I am working on Rowen's scrapbook. Hopefully I will be able to get him caught up and then work on catching up Lexi. I also have a list of chores and projects for me that will keep me busy for the next year. Maybe longer. Well that's it for now, we hope that everyone is having a great New Year. As if everyone hasn't heard this a million times, have a great '08.
