Here we go...

Well, here we are, joining blog nation. I still don't know what it is I plan on blogging about, but I'm sure that it will come to me as life happens. Most of all I am hoping that this will keep us connected to family and friends that we don't have the opportunity to see regularly. My kids are growing so fast and I sometimes need to take a moment to look back at how much they have changed in such a short time.
This first posting is going to be about our kids. Our first child is a very outgoing little girl. Lexi is in no way shy. She loves people and will strike up a conversation with anyone who will listen. Scratch that, just anyone. Sometimes I don't think that she cares if you are listening. She just really has a lot say. She is 4 1/2 years old and really loves preschool. She asks me everyday when her next class is. She also takes dance and loves it. She is a budding artist and loves to color, glue, write letters to everyone she knows and loves to help me cook or in her word, "Can I help you make?". She is beautiful both inside and out, and has a genuine concern for everyone. I don't know what we would do without our Lexi girl.
Our second child is the sweetest little boy you could ever meet. His name is Rowen and is 13 months old. He is seriously the best baby in the world. He is easy going and just absolutely happy all the time! He loves his big sister and misses her so much when she is not around. They have such an awesome connection. He loves to say "hi" and I think that his favorite thing in the world is mom's diet coke. He points to my cup and says "coke". I kinda feel like I've ruined him with my love for diet coke. At least it doesn't have sugar:).
With Christmas just days away I hope to get some pictures posted soon. Our digital camera broke and I am really hoping that Santa will bring us a new one for Christmas. Keep your fingers crossed. We are really excited for the big day and so look forward to spending time with our family and friends. We also miss the family and friends that we don't get to see regularly and hope that you all have a great holiday. We love you all! Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas!
