Last night when we heard the news of President Hinkley's passing Lexi was so sweet. She started to cry and said, "Oh no, I'm never going to see him again." She has always been so loving and so concerned with others. I tried to explain that we would see him again in the next life. I think I may have confused her more because today she keeps telling everyone that President Hinkley will be alive again tomorrow. What can I say, she is 4 years old and I obviously don't explain things well.
My thoughts have been with the Hinkley family today and the great loss of our beloved Prophet, but it is comforting to know that President Hinkley has been reunited with Sister Hinkley. I can only imagine the great joy this brings them both. I also can't help but think of the others that were there to greet him. I would like to think that Joseph Smith and other Prophets were there to greet him. What a legacy is left for us to follow.
