{So much going on all the time...}

Needless to say, 2010 has been a very busy year so far. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. It is what it is, I can either make the most of it and enjoy it or the opposite...and not enjoy it. I choose to be positive and enjoy the journey that our lives are currently on. I feel that life will only continue to grow busier...is that a word...busier? Probably not, but for the sake of this post I am declaring it a word. Back to my point...my kids are only growing older and becoming more involved in all the activities of life. I remember back to when Brad and I were getting married, I was meeting with my Stake President to get my temple recommend. President Corey and I had know each other for a number of years and we were getting caught up with each other when I made the comment about how busy I was...school full-time, full-time job and in the process of planning our wedding, building a home and the list went on. President Corey really surprised me when he said to me something along the lines of "This is nothing, wait until you have kids, then you'll know what busy means." I thought at the time "really...I am pretty busy". Now, almost 11 years later I fully understand what he was talking about. I also know that my understanding will only continue to grow. Wow, my life is so different now! My list of busy would now include full-time mom, full-time wife, full-time YW President (yes...it is full-time and then some), maid, nurse, friend, neighbor, tutor and my list goes on. I have a full life, one that I enjoy so very much. Yes, my phone rings off the hook at times, and yes I get tired of running here and there at times, but all in all what do I have to complain about? I have a wonderful husband, amazing kids, great friends that take me as I am, I get to serve the youth and future church leaders of our blessed church. I have a warm home, food on the table and a great supportive extended family. I can't think if anything more I could need in this life. I am busy...I am blessed.
