June 24th

We spent a fun day up at Payson Lakes with the Cheatham's and Smith's. We wanted to go up to check out our camp site for girls camp and just decided to make a fun day of it. The girls all had a great time playing in the water while to boys (well most of them) had fun fishing. Rowen just enjoyed looking for bugs. He walked around saying "bug hunt, bug hunt. bug hunt..." over and over again, all along carrying his bug net and bug cage. It was really cute. With all the rain we received in June the area was so green and beautiful. It was nice just hanging out and enjoying the lake. I love Payson Lakes so much. There were summers when I was a teenager that we would literally drive there everyday. It seems like just yesterday.

July 4th

Every year since I was a little girl we have traveled to Circleville Utah to celebrate the 4th of July with my Grandma & Grandpa Dalton. This year was no exception. We spent three days with my Dad's side of the family...49 people in all. Two bathrooms...49 people...you better get in line early if you want a shower. Ha ha! The have a fun little parade that you actually get to watch twice, that's right folks twice. Once down and then when they come back. The kids get tons of candy and it's not too long, even watching it twice.

This year my brother, Bryan finished his kit Cobra just before the trip to Circleville. He and my Dad worked really hard building it from scratch and they couldn't resist driving it in the parade. Isn't it HOT?! They did a great job! You need to see the license plate frame, it's is hilarious. It reads "Sofa King Fast" and that it is. He's taking applications for girlfriends if anyone is interested.

It was really a fun holiday and it was nice to see all of my extended family.
July 6th

Right after we got home from our Circleville vacation Lexi started swimming lessons. Lexi is a fish and loves the water. She did really well this year. She thinks she is ready to swim anywhere which makes me a little nervous.
July 8th

Brad and I celebrated our ten year anniversary on Wednesday, July 8th, but decided that we would go away a couple of weeks later when it was a little less hectic. Brad planned the whole getaway as a surprise to me. He did very well! He took me to the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City. It was so beautiful and relaxing. I took a few pictures of the resort, but totally forgot to get one of us together. I guess that is a sign that we had fun. We got to the Stein Eriksen Lodge, relaxed a little and then headed out to dinner. We went to the Baja Cantina... of course! It was so yummy! Then we decided to see the 6th Harry Potter. Then we headed back to the lodge to relax in the hot tub and well you don't need to know anymore details than that. The next morning we had reservations for brunch. It was very good! After brunch we shopped for a few hours and then reluctantly headed home. It was so fun and the time just flew. We decided that we would start going to Park City every year again. Next year is my turn to plan and I have a few ideas up my sleeve already. Thanks Brad for the fun night away and for the awesome 10 years of marriage. You are the love of my life and I know that there is no other man in the world that could be better for me than you. I love you! Here's to the next ten years...
