{Happy Birthday to Rowen...Big #2!}

Today is our darling little boy's birthday! It seems like just yesterday that we were welcoming him into our little family. I have to keep reminding myself that he is turning 2 and not turning 1, how sad is that? Maybe it's because he is the size of a 1 year old. We love Rowen just the way he is...perfect!
Ever since Rowen joined our little family the love in our home has expanded ten fold, if not more. He is the happiest little person and shares his joy with each member of his family. Lexi absolutely adores him! Daddy loves the little sports nut he is becoming. Mommy loves to be the recipient of his affection. At this age there is one thing that Rowen loves above all else and that is Disney Cars. He carries around one of his "Queen" (Lightning McQueen) cars everywhere he goes. There is not a moment in the day that one of these cars is not in his hand. He goes to bed with "Queen" in one hand and "King" in the other. It's funny how he has his favorite two cars and heaven help us if we were to have lost one. Rowen is a boys boy and loves to play with his cars and any ball that he can lay his hands on. He loves his "Pampa" (Grandpas) more than just about anyone in the family. It is so cute to see his excitement when he realizes we are at one of their houses. He is the favorite cousin to most of the boys in the family and loves any and all the attention he receives from them. His uncles adore him too. He loves to play basketball with them on Sunday evenings at Grandma's house. We love our little boy with every ounce of our being and are grateful he is ours. Happy Birthday Rowen!
